Automated CO₂ Analyzer Calibration
INDIA'S ONLY CERTIFIED CO₂ CALIBRATION FACILITY FOR CO2 ANALYZERS
Quality Control and Quality Assurance has been instrumental in determining hidden facets and attributes of the lab environment which is deemed critical for the success and failure of the IVF cycles.
Shivani Scientific has an ultra-modern calibration lab that complies with national and NIST USA traceability standards for calibration of CO₂ analyzers.
There are only 4 such labs in the world. All the CO₂ incubators utilized in India across many clinics are being calibrated by Geotech UK CO₂ / O₂ analyzers and all these analyzers are to be recalibrated at an interval of 3 to 6 months whose master calibration is fulfilled at the calibration lab at Shivani Scientific.
So, it would be right to say that all babies born in India out of insemination, injection and vitrification have its roots to accurate master calibration by Team Shivani Scientific
Calibration of your measuring instruments has two objectives:
To checks the accuracy of the instrument and
To determines the traceability of the measurement.
A report is provided by the calibration expert, which shows the error in measurements with the measuring device before and after the calibration
Why is calibration of the Analyzer important?
The accuracy of all measuring devices degrades over time. This is typically caused by normal wear and tear, and calibration improves the accuracy of the measuring device. Accurate measuring devices improve product quality.
It is important because it helps ensure accurate measurements, and accurate measurements are foundational to the quality, safety and innovation of most products and services we use and rely on every day.
When should you calibrate your measuring device?
A measuring device should be calibrated:
According to the recommendation of the manufacturer.
After any mechanical or electrical shock.
Periodically (annually, quarterly, monthly)
